Welcome to version II

Welcome to Binfire blog! This is my 1’st blog for the new binfire.com. We are a small team of developers working hard to bring really nice online collaboration tools to our customers. My team and I will use this blog to tell you our story, what we are doing now and our plans for the future.

I founded binfire in 2008 to create easy to use online project management and collaboration software for teams using social media tools. The big idea behind binfire is to enable project members to work together wherever they are, easily and productively. The concept which we call project room is simple; create an online environment which brings the benefits of close proximity to people working apart! We are passionate about collaboration and enhancing productivity. Our goal is provide the best collaboration tools to our customers.

Our latest release offers many enhancements compared to the previous version. I have listed some of these improvements here:

1. We have added dependencies to the tasks and milestones. Now you can add one or more tasks as dependencies to other tasks. With this feature you can easily create practical and comprehensive project plans!
2. Our new real-time interactive whiteboard is the perfect tool for collaboration, barnstorming or reviews. You can draw, write or paste images or PDF files to your whiteboard in real-time. All members of your project can see the whiteboard exactly as you see in your screen. The whiteboard is a truly interactive tool and can improve team productivity.
3. Integrated  group chat available in any page for better collaboration. Click on a contact to start a chat session. Drag others to the chat to have a group chat.
4. In addition to images, now you can view PDF files online right in your binfire browser (no need for download).
5. The project’s dashboard is improved drastically. It shows late tasks plus tasks which are due shortly. All entries in this page now are active links. If you click on one, it takes you to the source.  In the “Your Project” tab you can see the status of each project graphically.
6. In addition we have improved many features that already existed to make them easier and faster to use.
